Selfhelp Alzheimer's Resource Program (SHARP)

The Selfhelp Alzheimer’s Resource Program (SHARP) provides adult day care and social activities for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other memory impairments. You can be confident your loved ones will benefit from SHARP’s therapeutic activities that provide both cognitive and physical stimulation. Our caring staff of trained professionals supervises activities in a safe, secure and engaging environment. Our SHARP program also provides hot, nutritious lunches and snacks. Transportation to and from the program is available.

At SHARP we recognize the importance of taking good care of the caregiver. We offer individual and family counseling for those faced with the challenges of Alzheimer’s and other memory impairments. Our caregiver support groups provide companionship, enable you to share ideas and experiences, and find comfort.

This program is offered at Selfhelp’s Clearview Senior Center in Queens.
