Registered Nurses In New York State, Registered Nurses are professionals who have graduated from a nursing school that has been approved by the State Board of Nursing and have passed a state board examination. They carry out doctor’s instructions and provide nursing care to patients.

Rehabilitation Therapy refers to services provided by physical, occupational and speech therapists. These services are generally ordered by a physician to help a patient recover from an illness or injury.

Remote Sensor Technology refers to the use of strategically placed, unobtrusive, wireless motion sensors in clients’ homes. The sensors are programmed to learn client’s routines and analyze them, transferring pertinent information to Selfhelp’s registered nurses and social workers who are on the lookout for changes in living patterns that might indicate a medical problem or emergency.
