Selfhelp’s rich history dates back to 1936, when we began assisting German refugees fleeing Nazi persecution. Today, Selfhelp is the largest service provider to Holocaust survivors in North America, serving nearly 6,000 clients each year.

Selfhelp recently prepared and published a demographic analysis evaluating the needs of Holocaust survivors, entitled Sixty-Five Years After Liberation: Holocaust Survivors in New York Today Through 2025.
