General Support through our Annual Campaign
When you make a gift to our Annual Campaign, you help support Selfhelp’s daily operations. As a result, your donations will have a positive impact on the day-to-day lives of the thousands of New Yorkers we serve.

Caring for Generations Tribute Fund
Our Caring for Generations Tribute Fund is a meaningful way to honor family and friends on significant occasions. Your honoree will receive a beautiful Tribute Fund card designed by Selfhelp senior artists that notifies him/her of your gift. Click here to see the delightful artists’ cards.

Support a Specific Program
You can acknowledge special interests when you support a specific Selfhelp program. These include:

• Project Legacy
  Help ensure that Selfhelp will have the necessary resources to provide for the final generation of Holocaust survivors so they can live out their days with dignity and security.
• Nazi Victim Services Program
  Your contributions to the Nazi Victim Services Program make possible the day-to-day well being of our Survivor clients. We rely 100% on private philanthropy for vital services to Holocaust Survivors.
• Senior Communities – Housing and Senior Centers
  Your support of our Senior Communities means that thousands of elderly New Yorkers will grow old independently in their own homes and enjoy enriching social and wellness activities, educational programs and hot, healthy lunches.
• Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program
  Our Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program, an essential elder law resource for our clients as well as legal and social service professionals, is an indispensible service thanks to your donations. The Evelyn Frank Legal Resources Program is fully reliant on private funding sources.
• Selfhelp Alzheimer’s Resources Program (SHARP)
  Your dollars enable us to support elderly New Yorkers suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other memory impairments.
• Technology for Independent Living
  With your support, we can provide many seniors with cutting-edge sensor and health monitoring technologies, ensuring their safety and security.
• The Grace S. Nierenberg Life Enhancement Fund for Seniors
  Your gift will subsidize cultural events and educational courses for senior citizens of modest means while honoring Grace S. Nierenberg, a true champion of the elderly.

Planned Giving
Selfhelp’s Planned Giving options enable you to support our important work while effectively addressing your own long-term tax, estate and financial goals. When you remember Selfhelp in your will or make a gift through another planned giving vehicle such as a trust, gift annuity or life insurance policy, you become part of Selfhelp’s Heritage Society.
